“This resort is literally a step back in time. Reminds me of a "Dirty dancing" setting. You will never be hungry here, the meals are served family style for first courses and the dinner plates are plentiful! They have a little bit of everything so most anyone will find something that's makes them happy. Golf course was hilly to say the least but it was is super good condition for playing. Hope to be able to return someday!”
“Golf outing with about 25 people. We go every year the first weekend in May. The staff is great and the rooms and view is beautiful. The golf course is very challenging and fun to play and they take great care of it. New management two years ago and they messed up arrangements and pricing the past two years so hopefully they can figure that part out! Looking forward to the outing next year.”
“Staying at the Villa Roma was like stepping into a bygone era of luxury. While it has a flavor of bygone days, it is well kept and very well staffed. We had a wonderful time at what is evidently an annual pokla weekend, spending time in a fabulous (for both the atmosphere and the cuisine) dining room and in a multi-level event venue with a generous dance floor. After the event ended, we were able to extend our stay and it was super to have it as a home base for exploring the region and be able to come back to enjoy the copious, warm pool and delightful hot tub. I can only imagine when all the in-season activities start it's incredible.”
